History
The American Eskimo most likely originated in New York City and was quite popular during the 1920-1930s. The breed comes in three sizes: standard, miniature and toy. The breed is white or white with biscuit cream ? and brown eyes. In fact, it resembles a Samoyed. This breed was often used as a circus dog and was the first breed to walk across a tightrope. The breed is slow to mature and will act like a puppy for about two years.
