History and Facts: These dogs were the pets of Aborigines of Malaysia. These dogs climbed ladders into the family hut and chased out snakes and other animals. Telomians were beloved family members and today's breed can be traced back to two pairs obtained from the Aborigines.

Temperament / Behavior
This breed is alert, engaging and active. The Telomian needs early socialization or it may become aloof.

Excellent health record. No known hereditary conditions.

Special Needs
Exercise: This very energetic breed needs plenty of space and is difficult to confine. The Telomian loves to play, run and climb.

Grooming: The Telomian's short, smooth coat is easy-care. A quick brushing once a week is fine.
