History and Facts: The exact heritage of the Peruvian Incan Orchid is unknown. However, it is an ancient breed thought to have originated around 750 A.D. Incan nobility favored these dog; the breed is thought to have earned its current name when the Spanish conquered the Incas because they were discovered in orchid patches.

Temperament / Behavior
This breed tends to be quiet and reserved with strangers. Early socialization and obedience training is necessary.

Exercise: The Peruvian Inca Orchid is an active breed that requires several long walks and play sessions per day.
