Good with children.
The breed was developed from seven Poodles and more than 100 Pointers by Baron von Zedlitz, a German hunter and dog breeder. This breed is extremely rare, even in its native Germany, these dogs are only owned by serious hunters. For some unknown reason, the Pudelpointer has never been a popular breed.
The Pudelpointer must pass stringent hunting tests on land and water before it can be formally registered.
