Temperament / Behavior
The Tawny Brittany Basset is quiet, affectionate and intelligent. The breed is generally cheerful and brave, but has a mind of its own. Thus, it can be difficult to train.

Excellent health record. No known hereditary conditions.

Special Needs
Exercise: The Tawny Brittany Bassett requires a fair amount of exercise - about 1 hour per day. This dog is energetic, athletic, and quick. It loves to romp, play and hunt.

Grooming: Your Tawny Brittany Basset has a rough, short coat that needs brushed once a week. In addition, it should be plucked twice per year. This breed is a low shedding one.
