History and Facts: This breed is a descendant of many breeds native to the Swiss-French border, including the St. Hubert Hound, Swiss Laufhund and other local hounds. It is considered a larger brother to the Bruno Jura Hound, and has a slightly different, more pendulous silhouette around the upper lip and throat.

Temperament / Behavior
This breed is calm, even-tempered and dependable. The St. Hubert Jura Hound is excellent with children and other pets. It will make an outstanding addition to the family -- as long as it is well trained.
