 While it’s fun to dress up your pet, it’s important we remember to take their comfort into consideration. With that in mind, we offer a few tips from
Bil-Jac best friend and trainer,

- Make sure not to obstruct your pet’s sight or hearing. Most store bought costumes will be designed with the pooch in mind, but for those creating home-made costumes it’s important to remember this tidbit!
- Don’t allow the costume to restrict your best bud’s movement. While your pooch may be your personal superhero, a long cape will only trip the tailwagger up.
- A costume that fits well is key! Trying to fit your plus size buddy into a snug costume could constrict his breathing and ruin his night. No one wants that!
While neighbors are bound to have treats for children on trick-or-treat night, they might forget to share with your best friend. If you decide to walk your dog while the kids go door-to-door, you’ll probably have to provide your own dog treat. Bil-Jac offers a variety of treats all designed with a healthy pet in mind.
